Lavender for cough

Last night, my 7 yr old daughter could not sleep due to a persistent cough. I gave her cough medicine and multi symptom cold medicine around 7:30lm. She could not sleep from 7:30pm until 10:30pm. I had given her all the standard meds, hut nothing helped, and I was beginning to feel a little desperate. Then, I suddenly remembered reading that lavender on the feet could help with cough. I put some lavender salve on her feet, some immunity impacts on her tummy, and some Jeddy’s blend behind her ears. No joke, as she lay down and tried to sleep, she stopped coughing almost immediately. I shouldn’t have been, but I was shocked. My husband was shocked. I shouldn’t have been, because I love my EOs, but there i was, dumbfounded. Cough meds can be dangerous anyway, so I was just so relieved.
