A Return to Nature’s Wisdom

Two glass bottles with cork stoppers containing herbal oils or tinctures, surrounded by green leaves and yellow flowering plant sprigs.

Camp Wander was born from the belief that the simplest remedies are often the most powerful.

What began as small batches mixed by hand has grown into a collection shaped by the seasons, the wisdom of plants, and a lifelong love of the natural world.

An amber glass dropper bottle placed on a small wooden pedestal with shadows cast on the white wall background.
A bunch of fresh herbs including sage, oregano, thyme, and basil on a white background.

Each salve, oil, and blend is crafted with patience and purpose — pure ingredients, slow methods, and an unwavering respect for the earth. These are remedies meant to soothe, support, and remind you that nature is generous and healing can be gentle.

Camp Wander has become a place where people who love plants, ritual, and intentional living gather. A place where stories are shared, wisdom is passed down, and care is offered freely.

If you’re looking for everyday remedies made with heart… Welcome, you’re in the right place.

A Personal Note From the Founder

“I grew up in Southern California by the beach.  I learned to garden from my Mom, she always kept beautiful flower beds, lots of billowy, flowering pots, many tea and floribunda roses, and a community garden plot for growing vegetables.”

“The community garden plots were nirvana to me; I’ll be forever grateful for the “mom and me” time spent working in the garden.  Maybe it was the California influence, but I’ve always been interested in life on the natural side.

“Since I was little, I longed for life in the country where I could have a HUGE garden, animals, and live off the land. I read book after book on the subject and dreamt of someday being surrounded by wide-open spaces.

Well, you know what they say: Be careful what you wish for! Like life, I left a simple one behind and married at the young age of twenty. Married life revolved around 5 kids, dogs, and a little backyard garden to nurture.

There has always been a garden in my life, and life was bliss, for a time.”

“Two decades later, life had other plans for me—great, scary plans to send me on my way and kick me out of my self-made cocoon.

After 20 years of marriage, it was a season of divorce for this stay-at-home Mom with five kids…my very own Life Class was about to commence!”

“I won’t bore you with the gritty details of transformation, but those years of fighting to hold everything together taught me about who I am, what I love, and how I want to live my life.

The here and now finds me in Wyoming, surrounded by wide open spaces with a good man and, yes, a garden.”

“Our family has grown to 18 beautiful human beings that I couldn’t love more. I get to walk in the hills every day with two big dogs running circles around me, welcomed by miles and miles of blue sky and rugged landscape.

It's the most perfect backdrop for what I get to do every day: sharing the value of pure essential oils and how they can heal, protect, and change lives!

“The one constant in this life is my love and respect for nature; ALL the answers are there.”

“Nature never stops giving, may we be the same.”
