Consider this a short and very sweet post. Write this blend down or print it out, it's a great all in one blend to keep around!

I am new to your website and look forward to reading & commenting on your blogs. For this recipe you say to add to a dropper bottle. Should the dropper bottle be filled with a carrier oil or do you apply this blend of essential oils directly onto the skin? How many ml’s is the dropper bottle? Thank you.
nice, short, to the point and so useful! Thank you so much!!! I’m going to make this!!!
Thank you Sandra! Yes you can use the blend topically for any headaches that might occur and I like the idea of creating a sanitizing spray for your plane seats and arm rests – alcohol free witch hazel is a nice carrier, water will work too just shake before spraying! ….oh and I L O V E the bandana idea!
Thank you very very much for your wonderful blog and all the useful EO recipes that you so kindly post for everybody’s benefit.
I live in Cape Town, South Africa, and not able to always get all the oils that you use. However, I’m so excited that I’m visiting the United States this week and staying for three weeks, so I’m going to be able to stock up on the difficult to get ones.
This post is particularly useful for me, this week, as I would like to use it on the very long flights that will have to be endured to get there.Should I use it as for the headache, as I won’t be able to diffuse it in the plane.
The other concern I have, is that I’m going to use the DIY lavender Thieves Oil for protection during the flight and was wondering if I should make a solution with it and water and spray it on a bandana or similar and try and use it as a mask at most times.
Thank you again.
Barb, I don’t add a carrier oil to the blend because I diffuse it on occasion. However, when using it on the skin for the purpose of a headache etc. it’s never a bad idea to use a carrier oil with it. You could create a separate roller bottle with dilution added for this purpose. 2 parts blend, 1 part carrier would be my suggestion.

How much carrier oil do you put in this blend?
I am allergic to lavender oil and others, so I always dilute with a carrier oil to be safe.
Lavender can be a trigger for some, you’re not alone! Colds and infection can be treated without lavender very nicely with the Cold and Flu Bomb using 3 drops each of Oregano, Melaleuca and Shield in a capsule or a blend of equal parts in a roller bottle to roll on bottoms of feet (large pores). For headaches, consider Peppermint and Basil it’s a nice combination for headaches topically and in the diffuser!
What would you suggest, for headaches, colds or illness if I am allergic to lavender. And I am even allergic to the oil top grade itself which was a surprise to my friend from whom I get my oils. I almost feel like a “guinea pig” trying out oils. Frankincense also has an effect, but nearly as severe as the Lavender.
I prefer something more gentle for infants like Roman Chamomile or Lavender. Diffusing gentler EOs is a great application for the little ones too!
Hi I want to try this blend, but right now I have the dreamy salve.. Is the dream salve ok to use on infants feet before bed? Thanks!
I don’t, just Dreamy Sleep Salve!
I have Blue Chamomile Salve which I prefer over Roman Chamomile.
Sorry, meant to say do you have this recipe for insomnia in a salve???
I was going to purchase some roman chamomile, but can’t find it on your site?? Do you sell this oil or have this in a salve?
