Welcome to Camp Wander, so happy you wandered by! Camp Wander is a place that reflects my love for natural alternatives and how we can use them for whole wellness. It's my gardener's nature that first opened the door to nature's pharmacy, always drawn to herbs and the soil, where it all begins. And so it is with our health, like the soil our bodies need to be nurtured and cultivated to be well, flourish and contribute. Pure essential oils are much like every garden I've loved, trustworthy and created to heal. A bit about me…
I grew up in Southern California by the beach. I learned to garden from my Mom, she always kept beautiful flower beds, lots of billowy, flowering pots, many tea and floribunda roses and, a community garden plot for growing vegetables. The community garden plots were nirvana to me, I’ll be forever grateful for the “mom and me” time spent working in the garden. Maybe it was the California influence but I’ve always been interested in life on the natural side. Since I was little I longed for life in the country where I could have a HUGE garden, animals and live off the land. I read books and books on the subject and dreamt of someday being surrounded by wide open spaces.
Well, you know what they say, be careful what you wish for! Such as life, I left a simple one behind and married at the young age of twenty. Married life revolved around 5 kids, dogs and a little backyard garden to nurture. There has always been a garden in my life and life was bliss, for a time. Two decades later life had other plans for me. Great, scary plans to send me on my way and kick me out of my self made cocoon. After 20 years of marriage, it was a season of divorce for this stay at home Mom with 5 kids…my very own Life Class was about to commence! I won’t bore you with the gritty details of transformation but those years of fighting to hold everything together taught me about who I am, what I love and how I want to live my life. The here and now finds me in Wyoming, surrounded by wide open spaces with a good man and yes, a garden. Our family has grown to 18 beautiful human beings that I couldn’t love more. I get to walk in the hills every day with 2 big dogs running circles around me welcomed by miles and miles of blue sky and rugged landscape. It's the most perfect backdrop for what I get to do everyday, which is sharing the value of pure essential oils and how they can heal, protect and change lives! One constant in this life is my love and respect for nature, ALL the answers are there. Nature never stops giving, may we be the same.
