Sexy Wellness FRESH!

featured products

Sexy healthy women insist on sexy healthy ingredients for their personal use. The conversation was started with SW Personal Salve now it's time for a {natural} addition to your personal products, SW Fresh!  A personal cleanse that won't dry, sting or leave a filmy residue.  Wait until you see how simple, pure and totally beneficial this is, I think you'll love using it! Let's start with why I chose the ingredients that I did namely, alcohol-free witch hazel and rose water.

Witch Hazel attributes {alcohol-free)...

Plant extracts from witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) contain antioxidant polyphenolic compounds that may protect the skin from sunburn and photoaging when administered topically or systemically. Witch hazel contains chemicals called tannins. When applied directly to the skin, witch hazel might help reduce swelling, help repair broken skin, and fight bacteria. Applying witch hazel to the skin may help to temporarily relieve itching, discomfort, irritation, and burning. The best thing about witch hazel is that it has tannins and flavonols that recently started to attract the interest of scientists. These properties have confirmed witch hazel as an antioxidant. And there are components that make it a potent anti-inflammatory.

Rose Water attributes...

Those with dry skin sometimes use rose water as a moisturizer. The idea behind this is that sugars found in rose petals add to rose water's soothing effect, and its natural oils trap moisture in the skin, helping it feel and look smoother. It is a great cleanser and aids in removing oil and dirt accumulated in clogged pores. Thus preventing acne and pimples. Your skin will benefit from a moisturizer infused with rosewater. Combine a few drops of rosewater with your regular body lotion. Rosewater can be used on oily or dry skin, and it can help relieve dermatitis by maintaining your skin's pH balance. You can use it every day for an all-over glow. Now for the rest of the goodness!  Just a few additional ingredients bring Sexy Wellness FRESH to a climatic cleanse!

Recipe Type: Cleanser
Author: Camp Wander
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to pump dispenser OR an 8 oz glass spray bottle. Swirl to blend and it's all systems go!
  2. Approximately 1 tablespoon should be sufficient.
  3. NOTE: This cleanser is so gentle that it doesn't need to be rinsed but you certainly may do so!
  4. WONDERFUL for use before and/or after a lovely moment in time :)
Here's a VERY useful benefit of Sexy Wellness FRESH, it does not need to be rinsed off after using.  It's so gentle and so not soapy that you could go straight to applying Sexy Wellness Personal Salve, is that convenient or what?! If versatility is your thing, SW FRESH can be used as a hand and body soap as well! Be well and be, sexy healthy!

After researching personal products like lubricants and finding out that they’re basically unregulated because these personal use products are considered a sex aid, I had to say something. The ingredients used are nasty and harmful and destined for delicate places. There’s a better way with simple, pure ingredients!

Thank you so much for both of your “sexy” posts and recipes. I have recently gotten into EO regimes due to being diabetic and interested in holistic remedies for many things (without being given another prescription which causes more medical issues). Do you sell your products individually or recommend making the reader to make each? I’m just beginning to order product but just asking bc I love so many of what you post in your blog and would like to try these without making 6 jars. Thanks again

Thanks Christina, so happy you found us! You could add any essential oil you like! Geranium would be amazing or, Rosemary and Lavender together. Peppermint or Lemon…even Oregano for a super strong sanitizer. All pure EOs are antibacterial and many are antifungal too so grab whatever EOs you love and use them!

Rebecca,

Thank you for all your amazing posts! I stumbled upon your site through Pinterest, and just love everything you do. You, and your sister, are the ones who piqued my interest in essential oils and I’ve just expanded from there. I find myself reaching for a more natural solution to very problem I encounter, and it’s all your influence. My husband thinks I’ve gone off the deep end sometimes, but he encourages me either way. I LOVE this cleanser, and can’t wait to see more sexy wellness recipes! Are there any other skin-friendly essential oils I could add to this cleanser? It’s perfect the way it is, I was just curious about using it as a hand/body cleanser for kids and the hubster. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

Rebecca,

Thank you for all your wonderful posts and recipes…

I do not have rosewater or rose eo… i have some rosebuds that are meant to make rose tea that I picked up in an asian store once. I have not used them as tea, however, I wonder can we make our own rosewater using them?

Thanks again,

Kim

I don’t have rosewater, but I have some rose EO. Would a few drops of the EO with extra witch hazel or water work?

This makes a great cleanser for skinned knees and elbows for little ones. Doesn’t sting. Pump some on a cotton ball and clean away the dirt.

This works very very well for me. Not to give you too much information but the smell at the end of the day was NOT pleasant. That is much better now and there is no dryness either.

That’s where the pure Lavender saves the day – it’s antimicrobial properties will help to prevent mold or bacteria growth and benefit skin as well with just a few drops.

I’m wondering what the approximate shelf life is on this? I’ll be making this as soon as my castile soap arrives. I’ve been reading lately about how quickly bacteria can grow in homemade products so I’ve been a little nervous about making anything with water in it. Thanks!

Made this recipe and obviously screwed up. Oil sits on the top. Should it? I’m not sure I’m getting any oil when I shake?

Sorry if the word is offensive but I don’t know what other word to use.

This is great. I started out using it to freshen up in the morning or before bed, depending on when I took my shower, Then I discovered that it can also be used to remove makeup! I use it to remove the bulk of my makeup before I wash my face (not my eyes) and to take the makeup off my hands after application. I plan to make some based on peppermint and tea tree to use on my feet. I’m going to be making this often!

That would be the almond and lavender oil, just shake gently before using.

Hi, question regarding the sexy wellness fresh cleanser. I made it and put it into a foaming pump soap dispenser, but it’s not coming out as foam, it comes out like water. I even added a bit more Dr. Brenners soap, but it still comes out like water. I don’t really want to use a spray though, any advise how I could get it to foam? Thank you )))

Hello, just that I would put my two cents I and let you know that I use THAYERS Rose witch Hazel as a toner. You might want to use rosewater only as stated in the recipe. THAYERS has other ingredients like glycerin, Aloe… That might might causing your issue.

Hi, I’m using Thayer’s Rose Petal Witch Hazel, instead of purchasing rose water and witch hazel separately, I assumed it’d be ok….it might be wrong, but this witch hazel forms bubbles if you shake it, it’s not like plain water though. The dispenser also seems to be working properly. I very much want to try this cleanser. This might be a challenge, but if you have any ‘innovative’ suggestions how i can make your cleanser work, that’d be great! thank you again ))

I’m not sure what the problem might be without knowing the ingredients you’re using but I suspect the foam dispenser isn’t working properly.

You could reduce the amount of almond oil if you like. The almond oil is in the blend to leave skin feeling soft and clean as castile soap can be a little drying.

Can I make this with less almond oil?? Sometimes I feel a bit to oily. Guess, when I shower I am really used to soap and water, no oily after feel. Would reducing it be a bad idea?? It is wonderful otherwise for me. Thank you!
