Helichrysum - Helichrysum italicum essential oil is a rare oil and beneficial on so many levels I don't blink an eye at the cost, anymore. Once you have Helichrysum in your possession there's no going back.
Truly, Helichrysum is a powerful anti-inflammatory and the best essential oil I've used for nerve pain, I include Helichrysum in my Nerve Pain and Block Salve for this reason. Helichrysum can stop bleeding and ease severe allergic reactions in cases of emergency when no medical help is imminent. This is an important essential oil to include in any household for wound care and emergency preparedness.
As a skincare essential oil Helichrysum ranks up there with pure rose essential oil, both are amazing skin rejuvenators. I use one drop of Helichrysum daily in my oil cleansing routine with Rosehip Seed Oil to reduce redness and lighten sun damage. This is a good combination for diagnosed rosacea as well.

I have tried many different oils on burns and sunburns, but this one is the winner by far! Tonight I spilled hot liquid on myself and managed to burn myself in three spots, complete with blisters. Lavender didn't do the trick with this burn, but Helichrysum did! I only needed a tiny bit and the pain went away immediately.
Helichrysm is a great oil to have on hand for first aid needs. We love it for any kind of scrape or skin irritation. It seems pricey, but a drop or two is all you need, so this bottle lasts forever...plus it is double in size compared to some other major oil companies. I have had helichrysum from those companies, and Camp Wander's quality is top notch! I won't purchase anywhere else! (That goes for her other oils as well...) :)
This is a pricey oil. But when you see the benefits, it’s worth every penny. My main use is in our 1st aid kit. It helps to control bleeding & speeds up the healing process. We love it!
